Midoriya Izuku was told that he would never get a quirk. He was told he could never be a hero. He was told he should find a nice, safe job and stay where heroes could easily save him from disaster. He didn't anticipate the boy to get an analytical mind that could find the faults and potential in each and every move. He most certainly didn't anticipate the boy being determined enough to be independently trained by an underground hero after he turned nine. The doctor may have been wrong with most of the things he told the child, but he was right about one thing... No quirk ever came. He instead had to work hard to close the steadily widening gap between himself and his peers. The boy stayed after school day after day, never telling any of his classmates why, but merely sitting there, without moving, until everyone filed out of the room. Many wondered just what it was that kept him from leaving with the rest of them. The dorms offer a chance for answers, with them being able to know exactly when Midoriya comes back and what he does, but it yields little to no information. What happens when a few well-meaning students decide to spy on their resident enigma? Disclaimer- I do not own My Hero Academia, the cover art, or the characters. All Rights Reserved
