after witnessing a brutal murder linked to a notorious DC mob, ziva david is placed in witness protection, guarded by the senior ncis agent, anthony dinozzo. as they spend time together they begin to connect ...romantically. their relationship is heavily tested and is on the brink of failure when ziva starts to remember the night and the head of ncis has proof that she may have been involved in the actual murder. ncis refuses to have her in witness protection so she must do whatever she can to prove that she was only an innocent witness, and to fix her and Tony's relationship, before it's to late.
