The Bend in Magic

Magic has a way of turning on its caster, something Edrea Braddocke understands all too well. It drove her father to madness and warped her mother into a malevolent witch who ensnared the town, hiding behind a façade of beauty to lure men to their doom.

Despite her own desires, Edrea has been forced into aiding her mother in this deadly ritual. She years for escape yet dreads the price of defying her mother's dark magic. When a desperate boy tries to end the ritual, Edrea shields him, igniting her mother's wrath. Now, the witch wants her dead.
