A Tinted View

This is a collection of poems that I have written over the years.

For all this island girl knows to do is to let the sea carry her away,
To watch as it desecrates all that makes her holy.
For she was not taught how to swim.
Or to break the seas current,
But yet it parts for her like Moses.
