Scott and his pack had been able to defeat the Anuk-ite. Everything was taken care of and Beacon Hills didn't need them. Everyone was finally able to go their own way.

Scott had gone to veterinary school. 
Malia finally managed to graduate and go to Paris.
Lydia was able to enter MIT, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Stiles followed and ended up training at the FBI in Washington.

The supernatural had been left behind, although a part of it would always remain with them. Lydia's premonitions of death were gone. Or so they thought.
