Jasmine Marie Cortes(Jem) was born in the 1990s in a stray Island off California's coast. In 2010 it's a small population that flourishes and grows with the isle. At 19 Jem is enjoying her first spring out of highschool working with her best friend and taking care of her little brother Mateo whenever her father is in the lab. One fateful day she ends up being the first human test subject for her father's research and cryogenically frozen.
Jem wakes up 21 years later in her father's lab. Now in 2031, she's forced to navigate her new present and search for her little brother and father. As she searches the more she finds out of what happened 21 years ago and revenge might all that she has left. Follow Jem as she wakes up in an unfamiliar future and falls for the only man she shouldn't as she picks up the pieces of her old life.
