Half Wolf

I slightly smile as I stand in position, ready to catch my prey.

I lightly take a few steps forward making sure I make as little sound as possible. The deer is about 10 meters away, I need to get closer before I attack. I lightly take a few more steps closer.

The deer hears a noise and looks around. I slowly duck down so he won't see me. I can hear their pulse increase. It doesn't see anything that could cause it harm so it keeps eating.

I take a few more steps closer making sure I make no noise. I get myself closer and get into position ready to pounce. I shuffle myself forward watching the deer like a hawk.

I slowly get ready to pounce but my foot lands on a twig, making a cracking sound that breaks the silence. The deer looks up and locks eyes with me. Its eyes widen with fear as it starts to run away from me. I'm not going to let this one go.

I sprint after it. It senses me behind it as it starts to speed up. It won't get away that easily. I run faster, gaining on it quickly. I quicken my speed.

I find myself getting close enough to pounce. I know I'll only have one shot at it.

I leap of the ground aiming to land on the deer. I feel myself almost flying through the air.

Theadora is a half wolf. She isn't able to shift into wolf form, instead she is part wolf.

She lives the life of a rogue. She has no pack. She just lives in a cabin in the forest with her father. But more and more werewolves are becoming rogues each day, making it dangerous for her to live in the forest. Her father decides that it is best for them to move into a pack. But the problem nobody is allowed to see her because she is a half wolf.
But when she meets her mate does this change?
