For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. And that she could always be wrong about boys... ✨✨✨ Sidenote: I wrote this from November 2010 to April 2011, only a year ahead from the time set in the novel. This was fully uploaded on Wattpad in September 2013 for safekeeping. I hadn't gotten back to it in so many years nor find any means and time to promote it. This had long been completed but still needs edit. Enjoy reading! Cheers! P.S. This is not exactly a love story. And yet, it may read a lot like it.Complete
His Venomous Love
Her instincts as a doctor kicked in-kailangan niyang tumulong. Hindi niya alam na ang lalaking ito ay si Axel De Silva, isang notorious na Mafia Boss. He was escaping a failed assassination attempt. Weak and barely conscious, he found solace in her gentle touch-something he hadn't felt in years. Sera thought she was just helping an ordinary man, pero unti-unti niyang napapansin ang mga kakaibang kilos ni Axel-ang matatalim niyang mata, ang paraan ng kanyang pagsasalita, at ang misteryosong alindog na tila may bahid ng panganib. Axel, on the other hand, found himself drawn to her kindness-something he had long deemed as a weakness in his world of blood and violence. But love isn't supposed to bloom between light and darkness. Axel knew it was dangerous to let her in, but the more he tried to stay away, the deeper she got entangled in his deadly world. Hanggang sa dumating ang araw na malaman ni Sera kung sino talaga siya-at kung bakit siya duguan noong gabing tinulungan niya ito. Now, she must decide: walk away from the man whose love is as venomous as his world, or risk everything for a love that could cost her life?
Vibe Detector
Two years. Jisung had tried to get his attention a couple of times in passing, but it had been to no avail. The man barely acknowledged his existence. Once, he'd seen him in the campus library while eating a snack and had asked where the study rooms were, and the alpha had looked up at him and promptly looked back down at his work- didn't respond verbally, just pointed behind him to the wall lined with different study rooms. Even when Jisung thanked him, Minho just kept his head down, reading whatever book he had on the table. He had watched one of Felix's dance performances at the end of their first year, and found that Minho was also a dance major. Jisung tried to congratulate him for his insanely good routine, thinking that it was a sign of sorts that the universe put them all in one place, but Minho had only nodded his appreciation and went back to his group of friends. Two. Years. OR [Minho refuses to notice Jisung's efforts and advances, at least that's what Jisung's Vibe Detector ™️ is telling him]Complete
