Lost In Loneliness is a short story highlighting depression, trauma and loss. This is totally fiction but these are real issues in society and it's important to help those we see struggling. If you or anyone you know is struggling please speak to someone, I know how scary it can be but the world is a brighter place with you in it.
This story was originally written as a word count limited assessment for an English class. I plan to rewrite it properly at some point!

Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. "Why do bad things happen to good people?" Tiana Collin's life is horrible and she knows this. With an abusive father and a druggie for a mother and with absolutely no friends at school, she didn't think her life meant much. So she decided to end it. But before she ended her life, she wants to feel loved. To feel cared for. To feel. So she decides to date one of the most popular boys in school, Tyson Bent, who she knows has a bet with his best friend. A bet to get her to sleep with him. She knows he doesn't really care about her. But sometimes it's nice to pretend. After all, she's only supposed to be with him for a week. But when he reads her diary, he has another mission. A mission completely different from the dare. A mission far more important than a dare. An added bonus being the chance to finally find out who he is and not who everyone else wishes for him to be. A chance to grow into the person he could be. The Greatest Abomination
Andrew Smith is a 17 year old boy intent on having the best life possible. There's just one problem - his orientation. In this LGBT themed story, he narrates his experiences from childhood to adolescence in what life as a gay boy has consisted of, including all the laughs, tears, loves, disappointments, and challenges along the way. It's a tale of self-acceptance and the desire to be just like anyone else. Through many ups and downs, Andrew begins to lose hope in himself and his future. Is all hope lost for Andrew or will things work themselves out in the end? ----- This story is a mixture of my own personal experiences and some fiction to make it "flow" better. It's the first type of writing I've ever really done, and was originally written to self-help, to allow me to cope and deal with things. I decided to publish it because there might be others out there who face the same situations as me, and it helps to know you're not alone. Anyway, feel free to leave any type of feedback/criticism! Her brows furrowed. "You look like you have something specific you wanna ask me." The tips of Liam's ears turned red at Emma's very accurate observation. "I, uh... I usually just bullshit my way through projects, so I have no idea what the hell I'm doing." The corners of Emma's lips formed a small smile. Liam arched his brow. "What are you smiling at?" Her smile widened. "Nothing." Ever since Emma started going to Silver Creek High, she's been bullied over her discolored eyes. It all started when a boy brought attention to her in biology class one day, laughing at her and calling her a "freak" while the rest of the class laughed along with him. She never looked at him or saw his face; she just ran out of the room crying. She was now an outcast labeled as a freak and she wanted nothing more than to just disappear. She felt she had no purpose in life. Until her sophomore year when she fell in love with Liam, the guy every girl wanted; the guy every dude wanted to be. He had stolen her heart and she now wanted nothing more than to be with him. Unfortunately, Liam seemed to want nothing to do with Emma. He seemed to be straight up avoiding her. They never interacted for 3 whole years. That is, until now in their senior year, when they get paired up for a school project. The two must put their differences aside and try to work as a team. But as they spend more time together, feelings grow deeper, and secrets start to rise to the surface. She meets a guy--probably the most popular guy in school (and hey, why not make him British while we're at it?). He's most likely very handsome and just as rich, and magically seems to understand her. It feels like they've known each other forever when in fact they've actually just met.
