The beginning of the new school term is far from anticipated when a number of final year students are planning to resume with sharp bladed knives and bullet filled rifles hidden cautiously in their back pockets.

Figuratively speaking, of course.

When the New Year Resumption opens with a suffocating air of terror and tension latched around the throats of some students of Castron High, they are left to walk around eggshells with each other, hoping that they will be able to make it through the year in one piece.

However, fate has other plans for them as these teenagers are prone to inevitably getting their hands dirty. While friendships are still on the line, Dabeluchi Orji resumes the year with her new 'aura' being a slap to people's faces and the events of her life scripted according to the version she prefers in her head.

Marcus Acha is adjusting to his new reputation in Castron High, alongside a barrage of consequences from Home, but he is not done messing his live up over his Love. He dives into playing with fire and putting his life on the line as he goes out on a premeditated quest against of the most dangerous men in the country.

After all, all is fair in the game of Love, and soon, dirtier tricks are played, nastier controversies are arising, death threats are following, and Marcus - along with the Igbo Sisters - are setting themselves up for deadly brutal consequences. More than they could have ever bargained for.

In a world where Home is Hell, friends are now foes, Love is a gamble, the line between reality and illusions are blurred, and High School is a like a cult, a messed up society of twisted hierarchy and a toxic pecking order, twelve teenagers are falling apart.
