Casey, a recent high school graduate is spending his first summer alone at his grandparents' NYC townhouse after they have fallen ill. Struggling to deal with his sudden sadness and boredom, he takes himself out into the world, hoping to find comfort in his solo adventures. But all he finds is a lighthearted yet strangely vague blond boy called Ethan, who does not seem to have an off button. And even if he did, Casey wouldn't think to ever shut him down.
