Percy was still too far away to hear, to know what was happening, and likely he wouldn't care. Annabeth's breath caught in her throat and the crowd faded, the voices just white noise. There was only Percy, his hair shaggy and swept to the side, his mouth drawn up in his troublemaker smile. Her body ached to return to him, he was so close. But if she was right, that would be a deadly mistake. Annabeth turned back to Jason. "You sold us out didn't you." "There's only one way to end the schism, Annabeth," Jason said. His remaining eye gleamed. "The Greeks must be wiped out." Reyna raised her hand. "Seize them." "Jason!" Piper cried as two legionaries grabbed her arms. "How could you!" Annabeth grit her teeth but didn't struggle. They couldn't win this fight. And the worst part? She totally saw it coming. This is an au where Jason turns the Greeks over to the Romans instead of cooperating, and the resulting conflict ensues. Can the Greeks and Romans work together? Or will they both be torn apart in the end. But Tartarus, two wars, and five years of questing has tolled them more then they first thought, and hiding it is getting harder, especially when they go to school. Frank and Hazel are Praetors, (along with Reyna). And honestly, they are just passengers along for the ride. Part Two Frank, Hazel, and Reyna are at CHB to create an exchange program between the camps. But something is going on with the Fifth Cohort Percy, Annabeth, and Leo are going to school together. They wonder why a satyr can't do it, or why it has to be them, not anyone else. After a bit of convincing, they're on their way to Cali, via plane, credit to Zeus. What they don't know, is that another mysterious young demigod was also assigned to this quest. Hali Peterson. Daughter of Poseidon, born in 1937, dropped in the Lotus Casino at age 14, till her father pulled her out in the middle of the Giant War, in hopes to gain some more power in the underwater battle that raging at his palace. Now it was the next summer, and 15 year old Hali was living the dream in Southern California, occasionally going on different quests for her father.
