(AU) Luke is gone. Kylo Ren is the new Supreme Leader. The Resistance is all but decimated. Now, all responsibility falls on Rey to balance the Force and bring an end to this war. But as a relatively untrained Jedi, she will not be able to find balance in the Force when she cannot find balance within herself. With whispers of Palpatine's return, the Dark side has been growing stronger and stronger every day. Will she be able to defeat them or will the pull to the Dark be enough to turn her and cause a different ending to the war? *This is an alternative universe that takes place just before/during the events of the Rise of Skywalker. There will be some things that could be similar to the film, but I will be changing quite a bit. There are many items and powers that exist in TROS that I personally do not feel make sense, so they will be omitted (The dagger, lightspeed skipping, Anakin's saber, to name a few). This story follows some of our favorite characters from the Star Wars franchise and some new faces too. May contain graphic content.*

I went to the cinema during the Christmas holidays, to see 'The Last Jedi', and I just fell in love with the bond between Rey and Kylo Ren. The first four chapters are kind of like a 'prologue', to tell you the situation, and make you familiar with the characters. This is a story about Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala if Anakin never became the greatest Sith Lord and Padme never passed in child birth. Anakin left the Jedi order due to having children yet he still tries to make Naboo (the planet he's currently living on) a peaceful and safe environment for him and his family. I know I am using the years BBY in this book however I'm not going to write about the Battle of Yavin as it wouldn't make sense in this book. There would be no death star in this Galaxy meaning the Battle of Yavin wouldn't take place so let's ignore that and pretend they mean something different! In the original movies Leia's last name is Organa due to her adoptive parents however in this story it is Skywalker like her fathers. Also this story has a lot of [* months later] just because it's easier rather than writing a really long story every day until Luke and Leia turn 20, it's also just the months when babies start doing things like talking, crawling teething etc. The story is different and is not like how it is in ROTS!!! IF SOMEONE HAS ALREADY DONE A SIMILAR IDEA TO THIS I'M SORRY, IM NOT HERE TO COPY ANYONE I HAVEN'T READ ANY STARWARS FANFIC SO I WOULDN'T KNOW!!!
