Book 1 in the "Hopeless Runaways" trilogy.
Plagued by anxiety and PTSD from the events in the graveyard and the death of Cedric, 5th year Harry forms an unlikely alliance with Draco Malfoy - an alliance that quickly grows into a close friendship.
The stress and pressure of the brewing war proves to be too much for the pair, causing them to formulate an escape plan.
The boys know that they can be tracked by magic produced from by their wands so they leave them with a trusted ally and escape into the muggle world, leaving their family and friends behind with no idea what has happened to them.
Will meeting new friends and going to new places bring the two together? Will their friendship grow into more? To what measures will the Wizarding world go to in order to find their "saviour"?
