So this was brought on by many people asking me why I dislike Maki, why there's so much criticism of Maki in the fandom at large and why people think she's badly written when she's one of the few female characters in the game to have a development arc. My answer was 6k words.

This story is a rewrite of my fanfiction on MHA that I wrote around 4 years ago. It had a lot of flaws and absolutely ZERO planning !!! Just wrote it as I went along. Wrote the story when I was 12. It happened again when she was nine and this time, she went into a coma until she was twelve and didn't noticed that she had accidentally kept her parents skulls and turned them into her familiars. She placed on the NerveGear onto her head and got stuck as she was in the hospital still and saw her childhood friend/playmate and she avoids him like a plague as she wants nothing to do with him and made friends with two people after being called 'mama' by four little girls where they all made a guild together and only she figured out who the final boss is where she made only four simple requests to him. After knowing her parents' cause of death, she vowed she'd never let any child experience what she went through and that's why she wanted to become a hero. To save children, and adults from villains... Yeah and to also put an end to this corrupted hero society. Brute Force (Baki The Grappler x reader/story)
I'm not doing a direct ship of Baki x reader, I'm making a story of Baki. Like the escaped convicts arc, raitai tournament arc, and the Pickle arc. And maybe the Kenyan Ashura cross over (maybe.) And also because I don't see much of this type of stuff since most of it is most Baki x reader rather than reader x the story if you understand. Because I'm not the type of writer to ship the reader x everyone. Like for example, katsumi and the reader are beast friends, or the fact that the reader dislikes Katou Kiyosumi. Although in the details needed, I list a few people that interact with you in a romantical way. Also, I'm not a writer who simply includes you in every single scene. Some scenes she will not be in, and will hear about later because that is more realistic. And because I want to write more scene with you having character development rather than a side character who just watches. This story does include romance. But not that much because it focuses on you being in the story more than just romance. Although, trust me when I say this, there will definitely be romance, either subtle or obvious.
