Audrie is known to be hopeless when it comes to love. She's pretty, kind, and intellectual, but she still can't find 'the one'.
She becomes closer to Dylan, the basketball team's shooting guard. He's kind, handsome, athletic, humorous, and sorta smart (maybe average). She grows feelings for him and asks her friend to help her confess. Audrie's friend tells Dylan about Audrie's feelings. The guy says he used to have feelings for her, but also mentions he's moved on.
The next day, he unexpectedly announced his relationship with Audrie. He promised her eternal love.
Although, Audrie soon finds out the reason of his sudden announcement. It was none other than her best friend, Emma.
