Following the incident in the Holy Tomb, Byleth sides with Edelgard against Rhea and when the Adrestian Empire goes to war against the Church of Seiros, Byleth finds herself at the front of the fight alongside Leo. However, Byleth vanishes during the attack on Garreg Mach and Leo, while trying to find her, finds himself at the front during the war.
