So Lillian Winters isn't you average senior in high school, she's smart, quiet, I guess you could say she is a nerd. She does so well in fact that she skipped a grade. But that's just a cover -up.

In Lilly's sixteen, almost seventeen, years of life she has probably had and won more battles than a military person in their whole life. With Lillian having the ability to control ice she is hired by the Gifted Government to protect other people with gifts. She just happens to be the best in the business. Although the Gifted Government has known her her whole life, the do not know that she is one of the only horse shifters left in the world.

Lilly's next assignment is to protect the largest pack in the United States from an attack. Yes, a pack, as in a pack of werewolves. What happens when the Alpha of the pack just happens to find out that Lilly is his mate, and he thinks she is human?
