"We all have our vices, darling," he purred as he stared straight into my soul whilst draining the last drop of the amber liquid in his glass.
I stared straight at him, at his intimidating frame and at his frightening shadow that seemed to suck out all the light in the room as I dreaded the words that were going to come from his mouth.
"Some choose to hide it," He continued and I held my breath as he took a step closer to me until our bodies were separated by just a breath.
He picked up a strand of my hair, continuing to stare straight into me with his eyes that held so much power and strength but above all, ruthlessness.
"We just don't have to."
