but in all realness, if you want more, this is a story about a girl (beatrice) who knows nothing about herself other than the fact she is supposed to bear her mother's evil in her heart. she's got a squib father-the only light in her life for miles and an overbearing brother (clarke). she tries her best in this story to redeem this hereditary evil by teaming up with a boy (draco) to solve the murder of an innocent muggleborn. beatrice and draco may not get along at first, but together they find kinship in their desires to soothe their individual guilt through playing detective. alongside their best friends (pansy and blaise), beatrice and draco are guided through a tumultuous eighth year post-war. from murders to betrayal to love and to broken systems, this one's a ride.
