People all say that Archangel is as safe as can be. You can ask anybody around. They'll tell you as much. That sleepy logging town is the kind of place where people spend their summers grilling down by the lake, and where they know their neighbor's name. Heck, just walk down any road in town and see how many folks wave to you as they drive past. You'd probably even get the same treatment from the guards down at the TARN Defense Industries labs. Just mind that you don't get too close to the gate. Oh, and try not to listen too closely to any sounds coming from the other side of the fence.
With Archangel being the kind of small town that it is, no one knew how to make heads or tails of the Novak boy going missing. The Sheriff-being mostly TARN's Sheriff-blamed some kind of cult for the crime, on account of all the blood and the symbols carved into the trees where they found the kid's truck. Some people bought it. Some, but not all.
See, people have questions-especially people like Brandon Jones. His sister, Amanda, went missing back in '99, and from what people around town are saying, he's got an itch to prove that those TARN people had something to do with whatever happened to both Amanda, and Thomas. Archangel being what it is, he might have a shot at it. But then again, he might not.

Some could use it for social life, some could use it for doing research and some could use it to track you down and know every single move you do. They could hear everything, know your next destination. Maybe now you're being followed and tracked down by someone but you just don't know. Just as the characters in the story. The story is based on possible events that could occur in these days. Nobody knows what's out there on the internet, and what's in people's minds.
