Y/N turned her head around and stared at me waiting for me to answer the question just like we agreed to, but I was lost. Lost in my own thoughts. Since the conference began, my mind has been replaying her words over and over like a mantra.

"Tom" She whispered, nudging my arm to answer the reporter.
"Right," I shook my head trying to push down all the thoughts I had.
"No, we are not dating" I answered, and it was that second that everything changed
"Ye-" She was about to confirm my words but I interrupted her
"Because we are engaged" I laced my fingers through her motionless ones and raised our joint hands.
