We've all heard the stories of animal human hybrids in myths, Werewolves, mermaids, medusa, centaurs, all creatures of fantasy, or perhaps not. There is a small species of creatures, they look much like humans, but they are far from it. These creatures, almost indistinguishable from humans, with animal-like limbs and features, scales, feathers, tails, fangs. Some live wild, giving in to their animal instincts, others live their lives just as people do, trying to survive in a world that is not meant for them. There is however, a small sanctuary for these creatures, a safe haven. Somewhere, in a small town called redwood, a community of these hybrids, those who live in this town, and some living in the city nearby, hybrids attend the high school, a place that is free of judgement of their kind, a place these creatures can be themselves without fear, or so it is told.
