The leaves soared down from the tree branches in a rainbow from crisp emerald green to soft easygoing yellow to a blaring red. The trees arms reached out over my head attempting to devour all the sun light greedily. My sights were focused forward, so that I may not stray from the path. The gravel crunched almost inaudibly under my feet as I continued my journey down the pathway. 'They are following me I can feel it.' The words came to my mind and it was clear as day that it was true. The rustle of the bushes and crunching of the leaves off in the distance gave them away.Bảo Lưu Mọi Quyền

I woke to my limbs sore and my head hurting. I didn't open my eyes but chose to feel around me instead. I could feel leaves and grass underneath me along with the wind sliding along my skin. I could hear bugs and animals around me, along with the trees swaying. I could smell the fresh air around me. Then i opened my eyes to see the moon above my head through the trees. It shined so bright, and it made its own light in the sky.

„The sunset is beautiful, isn't it?", she asked, the sound of her voice strained, as if she hadn't been talking for a long time. The boy sat next to her, staring forward into the leaving sun. He didn't even look at the young woman when she spoke. Yet still he could feel himself, only a small part of himself, longing to hear more of her voice. It used to calm him down, singing soft lullabies whenever nightmares haunted him, or telling stories to him and his brother. It was the only comfort he could rely on. And he ended it before it could poison him. Silence filled the vast empty space. Only a single Rowan tree swayed in the non existent wind, its branches reaching down where the two figures sat, sheltering them from any harm that may come their way. It was time to leave this place again. He couldn't stay here for long. He hugged his knees tight, unconsciously swaying back and forth as he did so. Maybe, if he hugged himself hard enough, he could stay here and listen to one of her stories again? Just one short story. His efforts were in vain. He realized that when his hands and feet started to disappear, just like they have done thousands of times before. There was no way things could continue the way they were now. I ran. I ran as fast as I could. I soon found myself in a forest. The sound of light footsteps and crunching leaves caught my eye and I looked back. I saw her. Midnight black hair. Bright blue eyes. She was beautiful. Her body was hidden behind tree but her eyes never left mine. I blinked, thinking it was all in my head and when I lifted my eyelids she was gone. maybe someday I'll see her again.

I watched closely as the blue eyes crept closer. They started to multiply as well as they started racing after me. I sprinted, my footsteps made no noise while they twitched and darted after me. "So concerned with my father Alt? What would he say if he saw us now?" I whispered in his ear. That got his attention and he released me on the spot. I step away and stand tall. "I could tell father and..." "You wouldn't" Dalton says with his stupid grin I havent seen seance we were pups. I lean in "Maybe, maybe not, who knows what might slip, Alt. You know I'm bad at keeping secrets." "NO! Come on please. I don't want to lose my position. (or my life) You wouldn't do that to me would you Lil?" I got him. As soon as I heard my name slip his lips I knew I'd won. "Tit for tat Alt. I keep your secret you keep mine. Now, I AM going for a run." Dalton rolls his eyes and reclaims his position at my door. "One hour" he says "or I'll tell your father myself!"

****SLOWLY EDITING**** The wind whipped past her golden curls that chased behind her in a tangled mess. Her steps echoed loudly through the silence as she thumped through the woods as though the devil himself was at her heels. The adrenaline pumping through her veins held back the pains of the sharp cuts that the unmerciful wood grounds had tattooed on her bare feet. The branches danced along her fair flawless skin creating a pattern of it's own as it ripped through her plain white chemise which now spotted streaks of red and brown. The flimsy material, now drenched in sweat clung fiercely to her body like a second skin outlining every dip, every edge and every curve...... Her beating heart echoed through the silence in her head but she could still hear the growls of the beast that had been pursuing her relentlessly. She saw his yellow glowing eyes as he stepped through the woods and made his way toward her slowly. A predator and its prey.

She....I....... I was running through the thick branches, pushing the leaves out of my way with all my might. I had to get away. The wet, brown, ground made it easier for me to slip and let her red, chilling hands slip around my innocent, scarred body, not knowing where she would take me next. I was almost out of breath, but I had to keep running if I wanted to make it out of this forest alive. My red dress was getting torn to shreds, and my hands and feet had mud all over them. My long, bushy brown hair was getting hooked on every possible branch, making me push my hair in the back of my dress, just like I used to when I was forced to cook everyday for my loathsome 'parents'. Returning back to the real world, I had to stop otherwise I would black out. I took a few seconds to catch my breath silently, and to look around to see if she was there behind me. I was looking up at the tall, old tree when I heard a twig snap behind me. Just like in the horror films. I turned and ran in the same direction, not daring to look back and see her wretched face fixed on my body. I sprinted and sprinted, but slowed down when I saw I was heading to nowhere but a ragged cliff. The unknown would me known if I continued to run and jump. I stopped two metres away from the cliff and looked down to see a valley so far down. If I jump..... I die. If I let her take me..... the unfair horribleness awaits me. I had no choice. I jumped.

I hear footsteps behind me and i run trying to avoid trees as my heels hit the ground like echo location i can see vibrations in the ground i can see living things trees bushes i can even see the bugs digging under the dirt. As i was running i did what everyone does in a horror movie.... I tripped but then again i didnt see the rock infront of me. Hello this is my first story yay.
