Two Down

"Damn it, AG, you're too selfless for your own good."

AG laughed, wrapping a loose arm around Anna's shoulder after both hopping over the stand and onto the grass. "Even though we're not together anymore, I'm still your idiot and your best friend. You're still my ride or die relationship or not."

At that, Anna smiled like an idiot but kept quiet.

They both knew they had to end their relationship on mutual terms for the better, but they couldn't help but notice at times that their feelings never completely vanished.

But being best friends was honestly better than nothing.

A/N: I suggest you do read "One Up" first before starting this, this is sorta like a sequel. I'll explain a little more in the intro about my intentions with this book.
