With the end of the Great war between the Aldmeri Dominion and the Tamrielic Empire. The fate of Tameriel was uncertain, and with the arrival of Alduin and the Dovahkiin now is the best time to strike for either side. With Skyrim's civil war ending in an Imperial victory now more than ever is the Empire ready to strike back at the Dominion.
