It's been almost one year since Lena was last seen after Dylan's rejection. After a few months there were rumors of her wolf's appearance from different packs on the East Coast and even from some in the Western packs. No one knows for sure if it's really her or another wolf matching her description. Until she makes a fleeting appearance on a pack border no one thought she'd return to and then she was gone. She occasionally shows herself to those she wants to and only in her wolf form. --- It's been a month since I made my mistake, one month since I turned my back on one of the most important people in my life and changed her life forever. For that first week I thought I could hear her howls in the dark of night but no one else heard so I assumed it was just my mind tormenting me. It's been one week since I couldn't feel her in my head anymore. Even after my rejection her mind stayed connected to mine until she rejected me as well. For that first week I felt the pain of the rejection eating away at her until it just suddenly went away one week ago. Deep down I was relieved that her pain was gone until the denial hit me. What had I done? --- We were in the middle of training when everything seemed to stop. It wasn't any one of us until I remembered she was still connected to us mentally. I reached out and was met with a wall around her mind keeping me and everyone else out. I looked to everyone else who had similar expressions of confusion on their faces. "It's coming from Lena." Our newer members didn't know her but for those that knew her you could see the worry on their faces. ----------------------- This book continues directly after the events of the first book so it would be recommended to read The Abused Mate first. Lea's POV along with other wolves POV's will also be introduced.

I put my head down again and started walking the rest of the way to math but stopped and almost fell when I ran into a wall. It was actually a guy and when I ran into him sparks shot through my body. He caught me before I fell, wrapping his arms around my waist. I looked up-and I mean up. He's at least 6'3. When I looked into the pair of the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen I got lost in them and couldn’t look away. My wolf kept saying, ‘Mate! We found our mate!’ in my head. He stared back for a few seconds before a huge smile lighted his face. Then he looked over my head at something and glared before pulling me to his chest. "Mine," he growled. ...... Maddy Stevens(Madaline) is a werewolf who has been mentally, physically, and sexually abused by her father ever since her mom died when she was six years old and continues to now when she's seventeen. He started drinking and thats when the abuse started. Since her mother's death Maddy rarely talks to anyone. When she does it's only a few words. Then she meets Justin Coleman-the future Alpha of the Dark Moon pack. Will Justin be able to protect Maddy from her father and get past the walls she has built over the years? Will Maddy trust Justin and let him in her heart? Read the book and find out. (I'm just going to warn you now that if you're planning on reading this story despite the description then be prepared for a lot of mistakes and cheesy crap. I started writing this when I had just turned 12 and the quality of it makes a pile of dog crap look like pure gold. Seriously. It WILL be rewritten eventually but until then... *nudges book toward you with nose turned up at it* Good luck.)
