A world in which creatures of unknown origin come to feast on humanity, a school trains children to grow strong and defend themselves from these creatures. Once deemed strong enough, these students gain the chance to form contracts with these creatures, called dæmons, and become guardians.

A guardians job is to either capture or kill dæmons. Some guardians, however, fight against an organization trying to take down the school and church.

Mykie N. A 21 year old guardian with a reputation of having anger issues. Dispite this, she is one of the strongest known graduates of Nevil Academy. 

What many don't know, is that the independent, cocky, yet trustworthy woman has seen and been through more then most would expect. This causes some...setbacks when facing the organization. 

Mykie faces choices which she has never faced before. Choices that can make a normal person break, but will she? What will she do in order to save the ones she has sworn to protect?

I suck at descriptions, sorry 😣. I have been working on this story for a bit. That includes plot, characters, and so on. Sorry if there are any grammar mistakes,or if it just sounds cringy, it's been a while since I last wrote like this.
I won't be updating it a lot, because while it is a story I'm excited for, my motivation is almost non existant at times. Fan fictions and stuff like that I always find more motivation for, so sorry. Now, please enjoy this story of mine!

Ferliobogs; are the creatures she's supposedly fighting against. They are said to be dangerous, man-slaughtering creatures that must be controlled and killed whenever possible; used for entertainment and training purposes, the creatures lash out and live up to what the humans say they are. When Keira is sent to a training academy away from her home and family, things begin to happen and a long kept secret is revealed. She learns that she is one of the few that feel the ferliobog species' pain, one of the few that can communicate and hopefully save a misunderstood species. A gentle creature, that means no harm and only retaliates to protect itself, turns her world upside down and sets her on a journey of self discovery and character testing. An encounter with a special type of people sparks a determination that cannot be swayed, and from then on she vows to protect and to help the creatures, before things get out of hand. Will she be too late to save both humans and ferliobogs? Or will one species die out at the expense of the other?

She lead a rather tragic life. The black sheep of her family due to her lack of affinity for fire. Her affinity was quite the opposite. Water in fact. Already in a time when women did not really have much political power or rights, she was outcasted by her family despite being of nobility. Still allowed to live in the distant west wing of the massive Grand Duke's manor, she has never eaten a single meal with her family nor extended family, and has spent her loneliness in her books and sword lessons. Although only taught by the head butler and one of the low ranked knights of the family, she was quite bright and if her family would have given her a chance she would have done great things. If only she didn't die at such a young age. Married off to some "hero" of sort that had slayed the Dragon of the North who was terrorizing the land and threatened the kingdom, this hero also had an affinity for fire and held her in disdain like the rest of her family. Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. IT WILL BE EDITED SOME DAY BUT RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO FINISH IT.

She bent the space at first, not so much drawing runes in the air as she was pulling them into sight. She could see them at all times, it was part of her magesight, most of what she needed when bending space was picking the right type of space to bend, some runes would never bind to regular matter, which was why it was so difficult to make a permanently distorted area since those runes were everywhere, tiny and hidden by Gium when he made the world.
