Well, we have the internet now and books too. But there was a time when humankind were farmers, settlers, hunters, gatherers, and plain simple vagabonds. Living of meagre meals, walking long distances with no communication devices, no luxury, no comfort,no healthcare plans and no money.I keep wondering how they survived through the years. So, here is a story I heard when I was a small child and one I can relate to as an adult. A story passed on through generations masking the pains of the medieval world and looking at the happy endings.
And as Monty Python sang -Always look at the bright side of life :)

"Unfortunately, I wish it was just a made-up story, something that belonged in the realm of fiction. But it isn't. I'm guessing it started happily at first. Just a naive 10-year-old enjoying what life threw at her. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But I didn't. I longed for more. With my lemons, I wanted lemonade, lemon cake, lemon pie, honey and lemon juice, lemon tea, and even lemon water!" I guess now I can't have any of that anymore, right? I messed up big time, and I'll bear the consequences for it all. I just have one wish though... It's as though I'd have been better off never entering this world in the first place.Complete
