Whispers

There had been a rumour running through the island over the past week, passing from one ear to another, of a spirit with blood trailing after it appearing in the dead of night and the company of a haunting melody dogging it's footsteps where the soft padding of feet should have been.

The children are scared and run for the comfort of their parents, while their parents shake their heads with amused gazes, remembering their own youth where tales of nightmares were shared as horror stories.

Meanwhile, all the elders keep mum as they know better. After all, all stories hold some truth in them. And they know while this tale of a spirit may seem far fetched, they aren't young enough to discard the bits of truth present.

As for Gon, well, he may have met the spirit.
