I turned at the feeling of her breath on the skin of my neck. "What are you doing here?" I asked, looking up at her. Feral. That was the only way to describe the look in her eyes.
"Do you really not know?" she replied with a humorless laugh.
My cheeks flush as I look away, back at the scene in front of me. Blood, screams, my shaking hands. All just a petty fight.
"I took it too far." I breathed, suddenly feeling cold.

Excerpt only: I quickly run in their direction as my claws elongate into fierce points.
