This work Is standalone but This is also a prequel chapter to my upcoming big work titled "A Human Tethered and a Witch Stranded"! This work is going to be Angsty and a slow burn. This won't be necessary reading to get that story but I thought it'd be nice to do a sort of character study on Amity for my story. This takes place in a wholesome Au where Eda doesn't have a curse. Lilith isn't awful. and if you break a witch's oath you lose your magic unless the person you made it with releases you from it.

I'm really fucking sorry." His voice broke like he finally understood what loss tasted like. She stared at him with a sad, devastating smile. "Isn't it too late for that, Mate?" One tear escaped - and she crushed it away with her thumb. Then she turned. Walked. Didn't look back. But he didn't chase her. Because he knew. He didn't just lose her. He wrecked her.

She couldn't believe it. Was this actually happening or was she dreaming? Luz looks at Amity again, obviously nervous. She doesn't seem to move, so Amity does instead. She cups Luz's face with her hands and gently brings her closer, pressing her lips against Luz's. The hybrid lets out a muffled squeak of surprise, but doesn't pull away or try to stop Amity. After a moment Amity releases Luz and covers her mouth with her hand, her cheeks tinted pink. Luz says nothing, and her ears lower, the tips of them red. "Wow." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luz Clawthorne-Noceda had always lived in the demon realm along with Camila and Eda, her moms.
