There's an unidentified drugs that also made by a person who only wants to conquer the world. That drugs is a virus, a virus that can turn people into a violent one. Violent, not only violent human but a brainless one who will just chase another to eat their flesh.
Eating a human flesh is their needs to satisfy their hunger. Yes, they are humans but that was before, before this stupidity starts.
They are not humans anymore. Do you think humanity will remain and stands in this craziness? Or it'll be gone too?
People are running for their lives. People are running to survive. And some people are fighting for humanity.
Why they are running? Running from whom?

Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character. This book has a slightly darker outlook at the beginning than my usual stories, but it has some humor further along. A Different Virus - Laura's Story
This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Is this fleeting shadow something that can help her or could this mysterious figure be even more dangerous than the zombies themselves? ---------------------- Ranked #1 Apr 10, 2018 (A huge thank you to all who read and voted!) The world had never seen such chaos. It started subtly, whispers of a new virus spreading in distant corners of the globe. At first, it seemed like just another outbreak, contained by the swift response of medical teams and governments. But then, it mutated. What began as a simple infection quickly spiraled into an unstoppable pandemic, turning friends, family, and neighbors into mindless, ravenous creatures. As cities fell into darkness and society crumbled, the survivors were left to navigate a world teetering on the brink of extinction. Among them, a disparate group of individuals emerged, each with their own story of loss, survival, and hope. Little did they know that their paths would converge in the fight for humanity's future, as they faced not only the undead hordes but also the darkest aspects of human nature. In the midst of despair, a glimmer of resilience flickered-a determination to defy the odds and reclaim what was lost. But as the sun set on civilization, casting long shadows over a world forever changed, the question remained: would they emerge victorious, or would they become just another footnote in the annals of history?
The End
We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' . The ones who survived were the last of us. Will the people make it in time? What hardships will they encounter along the way?
