Distrust

Cecilia Thompson is not an ordinary senior girl in high school. She has abilities that tend to be out of control when she becomes a bit too emotional. In order to prevent her past, Cece shuts herself out from the world and swears to trust no one. She gets through everyday life by sleeping and spending time with her best friend, Hannah Owens. However, Hannah hates that Cece is constantly miserable, so she does everything in her power to find the perfect guy for Cece -- it is their last year of high school after all. No matter how hard Cece resists Hannah's matchmaking attempts, she reluctantly gives in. Now, Cece's life becomes clouded with the idea of love, friends, and worst of all, trusting others. But maybe, just maybe, she can trust people without accidentally destroying the world. Maybe even love.
