From young children to elderly, every Wednesday a group gathers at St. John's Baptist Church for donuts and coffee to listen to each other's stories. There are those who have unusual dreams, those who suffer from dissociation, and those who claim to have visions or memories of strange events they've never actually experienced. 

There are even a rare few who possess peculiar talents not like the normal human...

And in a world where these instances can only be called "paranormal", among this group, four strangers form an unlikely bond in the face of a growing adversity.

One gazes into a mirror to look upon their reflection, but what if that reflection were to gaze back?

It is in this world, not everything is as it seems.

"What the hell?" I took a step closer to the mirror, staring at my reflection in disbelief. The person looking back was still me, but at the same time it wasn't. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath. My whole body was rippling with strength. Like liquid steel.
