Falls Walter does not want to be a fantasy protagonist.

Magic, supernatural abilities, all of that crap belongs to the list of things Falls wants to avoid until the day he dies. All he wants is a normal high school life and up to the week before, it seemed that he was all set for just that.

Of course, this story wouldn't exist if that's all that happened.

One week before the first day of school, Falls angers a certain cosmic entity who in return, curses him with something rather peculiar. Now armed with this useless curse, Falls experiences nothing but misfortune on the day of his entrance to highschool.

One thing happens after another and now, Falls must deal with everything he despises. From annoying side characters to textbook villains, all of it becomes a part of Fall's everyday life.
Making it worse, Falls doesn't have a single ounce of power to fight back. With all the pieces of the puzzle in place, this cliche story finally begins!

This is the tale of a self-aware teenage protagonist who thinks parodying fantasy tropes will fix the problems he's found himself a part of. Join Falls now as he goes through the ordinary problems of a highschooler while trying to avoid the reality of the story he's become a part of. Armed with his wits, sarcasm, and a trusty reader willing to tolerate his monologues, Falls will share his story: a story that goes far deeper than he could ever imagine.

Now the serious part:

A Time Traveling Fairytale by ElsaS7
56 parts Complete
Fate leads those who are willing but must push those who are not. One might interpret this saying a bit too literal. After all, Elena did end up on the bottom of a hill in the middle of a forest, suffering several injuries. But do not worry, fate loves a rebel and has something magical stored for our sarcastic heroine. Time travel. An adventure in the 16th century was not something our main character had in mind, but when her path is built with music and joy, it can't be that bad, right? Oh, who am I kidding. . . At first glance, it seemed to be the perfect fairytale for our main character; being able to experience the medieval time and be surrounded by enchantment wherever she went. She even meets a monk, blessed with the gift of music, who shares her passion and is willing to teach Elena the secrets of the piano. It's perfect. But it was only the tip of the iceberg. Elena's piece of tranquility is broken when she stumbles into another mess, leaving her caged and alone in the forest. Fortunately for our heroine, a prince crosses her path, helping her in her need. One might see this as the Universe's way for entertainment, or the fate's bizarre tactics to bring people together. Whatever it might be, it did not stop Elena from catching the eye of the prince of a powerful kingdom. Before anyone knows what's even happening, they're caught in the middle of it all; like a cat trapped in a yarn. After all, even the stone you trip on is a part of your destiny. What happens when the Universe, and basically everything between hell and heaven, is against you? Simple: it's a journey filled with unforgettable events. So buckle up, folks, because you are in for a ride of pirates, songs, chases, jokes, and a broken soul. After all, there is no flying from fate.
The Starlight Sentinels: The Amusing Story of a Struggling Superhero Team by JGrayDingler
8 parts Complete
A man, a woman, a boy, a girl, a demon, and an alien, all walk into a bar... THEY FIGHT CRIME! The Starlight Sentinels goes beyond The Watchmen's question of "Who would want to be a superhero?" by asking "Who would want to be a superhero if being a superhero was just another job people needed doing?" The Starlight Sentinels, that's who! They're not your traditional superhero team, and they're not the other guys either, nor are they the grizzled antihero type. Instead, they're just people who happen to work as superheroes in a world where being a superhero isn't so much a call to greatness as it is an eccentric career choice and super villains are just another problem that people try not to think about. Drawing inspiration from films such as Shawn of the Dead and TV series such as the Venture Bros, the Starlight Sentinels was crafted to be an amusing and occasionally action-packed adventure grounded by a diverse cast of humorous but relatable characters. You may laugh at their numerous missteps, but you'll also be cheering for these heroes and heroines hard-earned triumphs as well. Join this comedic costumed cabal in their debut adventure as they fight crime and battle the forces of evil anytime they're not stuck filling out forms for the police, trying to appease their overbearing corporate sponsor, struggling to gain recognition from an apathetic public, or arguing over whose turn it is to do the shopping in this hilarious tongue-in-cheek tale that takes on all things superhero! If you enjoy the first half of The Starlight Sentinels, you can pick up the full book on every major eBook seller, or order a printed copy from Amazon or Createspace.
