It's the summer of 1967, and everything in America is changing. After leaving Vietnam and returning home, Trey Washington, a 6'3" black man full of muscle and a head full of hair realizes that the country is not the same as when he left it. With him is his best friend, George Mason, a skinny white boy who was discharged for being gay. Shortly after returning to the United States, they get a telegram from their war buddy Henry Miller, telling them to get to San Francisco immediately for The Monterrey Pop Festival, a 3 day concert featuring Jimi Hendrix, The Beach Boys, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, The Mamas and the Papas, and many others.
