Peter hasn't gone out as Spider-Man since his girlfriend, Gwen, died helping him save the city from Electro.  Harry Osborn, his ex-best friend, was behind bars in the RAFT after injecting himself with spider venom and trying to kill Spider-Man.  His best friend dropped the love of his life down a watch tower and he failed to save her.  He blamed himself for everything that happened and more.

A story about the sinister six and the avengers trying to uncover Spider-Man's identity.
