     Desmond Wells a seventeen-year-old boy born into a difficult home has to deal with the horrendous events of his sister's premature death. At Marceline Well's funeral Desmond meets a boy his age, saying that he was one of Marceline's friends. Tim Alexander a mysterious but kind young boy helps Desmond with his misfortunes in life. 
     While being there for each other, the two young boys' friendship deepens. Though is this friendship of theirs just that or will it blossom into something more?

This book will be from Desmond's point of view besides chapter two, "A New Beginning", as it is from Tim's point of view.
