The last thing everyone wanted was a new apocalypse.
However, one day, it returns. It started back at the Piggy family, but not from Penny and her parents. The first one to get infected was the only Piggy family member that didn't get infected in the first round: George.
The surroundings aren't safe again. Everybody has to live in the danger of getting killed or worse, infected. Will they survive this second infection or will history repeat?

However, when the safe place was struck by an explosion, he sets off to find the cure, and discovers his secrets from an unknown man in his mind.

A little female squirrel by the name of Sunny runs away from home because she cannot stand the other animals in her neighborhood making fun of her for having crazy telekinetic powers. When she moves into a town called SillyVille, she comes across a chimp named Charley, an old sailor named Barley, and a six legged spider named Edgar and they were known as a trio called the Butcher Gang. Seeing them made Sunny move in with them, however Charley (The leader of the Butcher Gang) isn't too fond of the female squirrel living with them. Sidenote: I didn't have any other BATIM or BATDR fanfics in mind so I decided to do a remake of the first story that I made back in 2020. I'm making this remake because I thought that the original didn't make any sense. For those who are wondering if Carley/Slicer will be in this story, the answer is "NO". There are two reasons why I won't add Carley/Slicer in this fanfic: 1. There's not much information about the fourth member in the BATIM & BATDR wiki that makes me feel the need to add her in the story (Other then she's a ghost girl that seems rude & snarky). 2. I find Carley/Slicer to be very annoying & irritating in BATDR. The reason for that is because if the player opens Slicer's coffin or crate, she constantly pops out of nowhere & jumpscares the player from time to time almost throughout the gameplay. I know Carley/Slicer is a ghost girl, but I just find it pretty annoying how her main role in the game is that she has to continuously scare & run at the player nearly throughout the game. That's why when I decide to play BATDR, I'm not gonna open up Carley's coffin/crate in order to avoid dealing with her. After he escapes the house, Miguel finds himself in a zombie apocalypse where he teams up a few survivors and has to stop a man who caused this.

Worst of all, someone else has been watching him, and they're determined to make Tigry's life even more difficult. Willow, on the other hand, is going overboard. She's been pacing with schemes ever since her worst enemies had came back into her life. And she'll do anything for revenge. Anything to reconnect her one bond with her brother, held on by a single thread of hope. Even if she has to break many other bonds along the way. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. And who knew Willow had so many hidden charms~ (extra exposition about the series below) anyway this is the 5th and final book in the main PPR au series (which includes: a lucky encounter, Piggy but i wrote it, Zizzy x reader and Zizzy's puppy) this is not the end of PPR its just the end of the main during the infection fics. This is where the au starts to diverge more heavily from piggy canon, so just a heads up ig.
