Dreams are the subconscious way of showing us our deepest secrets, desires, and wishes. Some say they can even predict the future, which is why some dreams are dangerous.
Every Beholder must know that, for their task in the community is to monitor everyone's dreams and find potentially dangerous, hence forbidden dreams, dreams that could discard you from the community.
Once, a forbidden dream was dreamed by one who couldn't have dreamed it, and now his Beholder will stop at nothing to keep him safe, even if that means escaping into an uncertain fate.
