Since the "Sword Art Online Progressive" movie is dropping this year, I thought it was perfect timing to write my own version of this arc with my own twist on it. The story focuses on Kirito waking up after beating the death game of "Sword Art Online" and learning that Asuna isn't awake, yet. Not being able to handle the guilt, he loses all of the swagger and confidence that he once had in the original game. Kirito learns that Asuna is in a different VR world and with the help of his friends and sister, he must save Asuna from a threat unlike anything that he faced in the original "Sword Art Online." This story is going to be a much darker and bloodier adaptation of the source material. I hope you all enjoy it and as always, thank you for reading! One of those being his passion for strategy and combat. For him, seeing films or reading books of battles that happened long ago made him want to travel back in time.
