**A bit more behind the scenes**
The Goofball Run is a massive crossover attempt by myself to write a three way mashup between that has been festering inside my head for longer than I care to admit.
This basketcase of a story consists of the classic cartoon show "Wacky Races", the poplar game Mario Kart, and the cult hit movie "The Cannonball Run" all smashed and rolled up together into one beautiful mess.
There's just one thing to remember, anything can and will happen, so hold on for one wild ride with familiar faces of yesteryear as well as some of the new kids on the block.
This story is still a Work In Progress and will be updated accordingly. Feel free to offer constructive criticism or any ideas on how to improve, though I have a general idea of how I want this to end.
Also, feel free to take a guess of who will win, who will lose, and who will end up in a broken down wreak on the side of the road singing the Blues. The story may come to an end, but the thrills will go on and on and on and ooooh!

We all have those weird dreams where we fight dragons, dream of a 'happily ever after'...or in my cousin Alice's case; make friends with a unicorn that literally poops edible rainbow candy. Alice and I, along with our friend Zero, help my aunt and uncle clear out their basement during spring break while they went away for their wedding anniversary. While Alice and I were arguing, Zero tried to grab our attention. When he finally did, we were surprised to see him being sucked into a freakin' green swirling portal! Turns out, inside the box I tripped over had a crystal ball rolled out of it, and glowed a bright green. That was when we realised that that crystal ball, was the reason why a portal appeared and was trying to pull us in. And of course...I got separated from them, didn't I? A power that has very little information on, and a power that she has no knowledge about before she forgot her memories. Together, these three have become close friends. And they resolve to learn about the Power of Dreams together so that Kate can control this power and understand it better. Along with their friends, they will work to know what this power is and help Kate figure out what it is. But what exactly is the Power of Dreams, and why is there nothing learned about it? Why has no one possessed it before? Could it be tied to what Kate has forgotten about herself? This is the next chapter of the tale of Mario, Sonic, and Kate. Twelve Robloxians awaken to find themselves in...Minecraftia, of all places!? But if you thought waking up in a whole other dimension that works on completely different logic is bad, soon enough they're told they're here to play in a new game - a death game. You know the deal, we've seen this story before. But Robloxians are a lot more competitive than your average Minecraftian. This is about to get messy. Friendships may break, enemies made, blood will most surely be spilled - who will be the one who beats the odds and wins the game? Uneasy Comfort.
So um this story may be on hold as I have lost interest and have no idea how to continue the story... . (Disclaimer, there is NO smut/inappropriate things, just cute and wholesome~♡ but warning, there may be some dark themes throughout.) . . This story is basically a sonic the hedghog fanfic. It's set in a dystopian reality. im still figuring out everyone's stories even the main plot. But I just go along as my mind pleases. The main 'object' that stirs this story is a plant, named the agony night floret, that infects living things. It was created accidentally in a facility by money hungry mobian scientists and main boss, scarlett the fox. she is the main 'villian', surprsingly not eggman lol. the agony night floret infects mobians, putting them in these stages. first a purple blue rash, then disconfiguration then having the chance to rott and turn into creepy lifeless zombie ish creatures, not hostile but really contagious. They roam around isolated areas. Or, they have the small chance by transforming into these cannibalistic 'flesh-gorgers', coming in different types, 3-4 times bigger than hosts/Mobians size. sonic and his friends travel firstly through the thick, white, winter forests, named 'Nobelwoods' in Nahada, trying to find the facility of where it all happened, while unexpectedly coming across a familiar haze of a huge mossy concrete structure of shadows old-old home. Burnt. It will be told why in the story. I have posted drawings of the characters/unfamiliar characters to understand better of what their appearances looks. thankz for reading this far if u have :) (I'm rambling abt the lore lol) . . . . The two of them fight heros, fight villians, fight the societal biases about whos strong and who isnt, fight their own weaknesses together, and even fight the one who gave humanity their powers in the first place.
