If you don't know this already, Say Hello, Wave Goodbye is a song by Soft Cell. I always loved the band and on Louis' favourites on Instagram he also happens to have this song so I thought I could make a connection between the two. The actual song appears later on in the story but this fanfic is basically a cute romcom between Louis, the new boy and Ava who has been at Highgate School all her life.
