In this AU that I "made up" (I put that in quotes because someone else probably had this idea first or a similar idea and I just don't know) you have a timer on the bottom of your left foot. If you do not kiss your soulmate before the time runs out, you die. This is a Haikyuu fanfiction and will have Nishinoyaxreader, kagehina, tanakiyo, daisuga, tsukiyama, a little ukatake, and that's probably it. It may look long-ish because of how many chapters it is but I promise it's more of a short story. Enjoy!

Okay, so this is another soulmate AU. Surprise surprise. It's the soul string AU, where everyone has a magical string tied to their ring finger. The other end of the string is tied to the ring finger of their soulmate. Every time the two people are close, their soul strings will tense up and start dragging them towards each other. When they touch for the first time, the soul string will disappear until they kiss. If your soulmate is in really really bad emotional or physical pain, your soul string shows up black; just as a little bow around your finger. This story is loosely made for the AU, but it isn't a big part of the story. The mentions of the soul strings pop up sometimes, but that's not all they talk about.
