Sabine Wren has a promise to keep.  After the battle of Lothal, her friend and long-time ally, Ezra Bridger vanished, lost to the stars and he has not been heard from since...
Also missing is the sinister Grand Admiral Thrawn, removed from the Empire by Bridger, along with his flagship: The Chimera, to save his home planet from certain destruction! As the two find themselves forced to work together, Thrawn has his own plans already in motion, and he is determined to have the young Jedi be a part of them, no matter the personal cost to either of them! Trapped somewhere alien to him, and dragged into another war that is not his to fight, Ezra will be forced to call on all the skills he has to save everyone he can before it is too late!
Meanwhile after making a vow to Ezra, Sabine teams up with Ahsoka Tano, a former Jedi padawan to track down her friend.  Unbeknownst to Sabine and Ahsoka, there are other forces at play, forces that threaten everything in the galaxy!  As Ahsoka and Sabine search for their friend, they quickly discover that their quest and their mission will take them where very few beings have gone before, and a new threat is determined to make their journey difficult!  Struggling to find any leads of Ezra's location, Sabine herself must hide her own doubts, and step up to become the leader her friends and family know she, all while trying to move past her guilt and mend her broken heart...

With the noble Jedi Order all but destroyed, there is little hope for the citizens of Lothal to know freedom once again. A small rebel unit, known as The Spectres have arrived to aid the planet and fight the Empire. Amongst this crew is young man by the name of Aurelian fights alongside his friends against tyranny as he begins to awaken his true powers and reshape the galaxy... (You will find a lot of 40k influence in this story, to the point it might be a crossover in some respects. Nothing crazy, so no Space Marines, demons, or the like will show up. Just names, places, and imagery mostly.)

After a raging battle on Seatos, Baylan Skoll seemingly kills Ahsoka, and takes Sabine prisoner, having her surrender the map to Peridea, Thrawn's planet of exile. In the promise of being taken alive to where her friend, Ezra Bridger, disappeared, Sabine embarks with them as a prisoner. But the journey to Peridiea is a long one, and not everybody on the ship is happy about Baylan's promise to bring along the girl. Especially Shin, who fought her twice, and failed to kill her yet... As the journey to Peridea takes days, the two girls might have to get to know each other more than they expected...

As he struggles to defend the Chiss, Ezra realises that there is more than an army headed for him and Sabine, but a dangerous new enemy, who has been longing for the chance to kill him, for he took something dear from this unknown adversary, and he wants revenge... Meanwhile, in orbit and unaware of just how desperate her friends are in their battle against the Grysk and the cold, Ahsoka Tano must work with Thrawn, and Ezra's Rakata mentor: Soa, to try and provide much needed support to their allies trapped on the ground. As the battle rages, Ezra's student Thrana, left without a teacher, turns to Ahsoka to resume her training on a temporary basis. As the former Jedi tries to save her friends, she soon learns the key to saving her friends and the people of Csilla isn't on the ground, but above, and the Grysk warfleet will do anything to take Thrana before she can save them!
