I wrote these poems when i was a freshman in high school. my mom and stepdad were separating and i along with my mom and sisters were moving back to Arkansas. i felt betrayed so i started to write, this is what came out of it.

"I remember his face, his eyes that begged for forgiveness, his body as it shook with anger and emotion. Memoirs of a discontented teen
The raw thoughts of a discontented teen. To say I obsess about the past is an understatement. It takes a long time for me to wrap my head around a relationship after it ends. I'm sitting on the cold hard floor in the bathroom. It's 3:06 in the morning, everybody is asleep and I'm here trying to get through the isolation and depression stage of a breakup. To speed up the process I have my headsets plugged in and I'm listening to melancholy music which is what I normally do when I can't feel or when I've reached the point where I have run out of tears to shed. Call it manufactured grief or the fast food for my sadness.Complete

Sorry? Sorry for what? You didn't do anything. This will never be your fault. I don't even know where to start. There is so much i want to say. But the more i look at you the more it hurts me. Your nervous and scared. You won't even keep eye contact for more than two seconds before you look away again. Your arms are folded into your stomach. Well, what would have made me leave my one month daughter in front of the orphanage door , as her mother what pushed me to the extent of leaving her,not being there to see her first sit,crawl,walk ,hear her say her first words hoping it would be related to me, hear her call out to me when she cried, stay up at night with her singing some lullaby,read her some stories, tell her that there was a prince charming who would love her as her father loved me but where was I , staying far away from her, God knows how terrible a mother I was leaving her without even looking back. "I love you Treasure, always and forever, I'm sorry darling, I'm really sorry", I said as I cried telling myself do I really have to do this then I left without turning back hoping she would never hate me,she would remember how much I love her.Complete
