New Paths, New People is an AU that me and friends on discord discussed. We used our characters to create an entirely new universe.
New Paths, New People takes place farther in the future where a Civil War happened and what happened to the monsters in the past happens again to the losing team.
Those still remaining on the surface placed a law to not release those in the Underground. Gates have been placed and they created another barrier, stronger this time. There was no chance of escaping. Not unless they gather the right amount of souls. But not many have fallen...Only about 8 and only a few had the right one. They tested all the humans that were trapped underground and only found one with the correct soul, but it didn't have enough power.
They took the soul and kept it for safekeeping and waited for the day another human with the right soul fell so they can use the two powerful energies from the souls to break the barrier again.

I've seen some Undertale fanfictions where readers and original characters are sucked from our reality and transported in to the reality of Undertale and it's several aus. ORIGINAL (This story is actually/sorta is based off from in real life but not really. Fiction-Fantasy-Romance, however you guys want to call it.) Cayenne, main character of this story, (also in her POV) starts dreaming in a land called Dream and about these creatures called Dreamers with one power each. When she realized she has been kidnapped by the Dreamers, she was selected to become the new Queen of Dream. Someone has called her name and she disappeared from Dream. Cayenne woke up by her friends yelling at her saying she has 'vanished'. After telling what happened, they quickly searched up the Land Of Dream. It said only if Infinity and Energy joins together, they can create the same pathway that was there from the human world to the dream world. Without knowing, bad Dreamers came inside her house and kidnapped her friends. 8 of the bad Dreamers, were unlucky and was killed by Cayenne's magical powers. To Cayenne's shock, humans were not supposed to have such powers; she was the legend the website said, Infinity. Some of her friends were left and the Royal Dreamers came for the search party. Who started this war and will she get her friends back and find Energy to create the pathway connecting to the human world and the Dream world? (REWRITE OF THIS BOOK IS UP! It is called "Obsessive Love".) (I do not own the cover, Undertale nor any of the characters besides my OC's, they belong to their respectful owner. For some reason, I just see Error in the front instead of passive Nightmare.) Error, Forced God of Destruction and Destroyer of Universes was largely unknown unlike Ink, the Creator and God of Creation. Their fights were unseen by the AU's, none of the Monsters knowing about the Destroyer as Ink doesn't want them scared and Error gave no shits if anyone knew him or not. But Error's job is a complicated one, one that he is forced into, and he has to get involved to destroy the worlds. He doesn't touch the Original AU's, but the copies that Ink makes have to go. It was only a matter of time before something happened. Ink, in a middle of one of their fights, blinded Error, hurting him much more badly then ever before. In panic, Error ported into one of the Original AU's. Ink, fearing what Error would do, tells Dream about the Destroyer. Now the hunt is on for the broken, blinded skeleton. Meanwhile a blinded Error has been taken under the wing of another powerful Monster who has fallen for the broken Destroyer at first sight. But sweet love is truly beyond him. It is a obsessive love, a unhealthy love unlike any other. Nightmare would do anything for Error, and would do anything to keep him by his side as he goes about taking over all the AU's.
