Capitalist republic, communist republic, fascist state, capitalist monarchy. USA lost WWIII. The country is divided into four nations. The United States, the United Democratic Republics, the United Fascist American States, and the United North American Kingdoms. Four nations, each with their own problems. Two states that a forbidden to enter. Difficult times. A quest for revenge, freedom, and supremacy. Problems arise. Deaths are unavoidable. Happiness is forgotten. Earth is under tyranny with very limited counties with freedom. Lies are the truth. The truth is erased. WWIV is 100% possible. The Earth stops rotating. World Beyond: Charting the Infinite [ Startrek x scifi & fantasy ]
For centuries, humanity battled its own demons-war, destruction, the ever-present shadow of extinction. But against all odds, it endured. Nations united, wounds healed, and a single banner rose above the entire Earth: United Earth Government and later the United Federation of Planets. By the year 2288, humanity had transformed from a fractured species into a galactic civilization. The Federation stretched across the stars, its influence reaching every corner of the Milky Way. It was an era of peace, progress, and unmatched technological triumph. And yet... they were alone. No matter how far their ships traveled or how many worlds they surveyed, there was no sign of other intelligent life. The universe vast, ancient, and beautiful remained eerily silent. Theories once whispered in academic circles, the "Great Filter," the "Rare Earth" now loomed large and terrifying. Was intelligence a cosmic accident? Was humanity the only one to make it this far? Then, everything changed. On the eve of humanity's historic voyage to Andromeda (M31). As their science vessel prepared for its journey across 2.6 million light years, something unprecedented occurred. In a flash, space itself seemed to twist and fold, as the Milky Way merged with another galaxy in instant, one far larger and older than their own. A supernatural phenomenon, Scientist nicknamed it "The incident" It is regarded as the most otherworldly, and maybe be called world ending event that ever happened to mankind. Various Chunks of land formed over the Pacific Ocean, after a series of earthquakes and tsunamis that terrorized the coasts of different countries. Experts and Scientists gather around, trying to analyze what has happened to the Earth. And they were in for a terrible, yet fascinating discovery, one that can shift the world's balance for the worse or the best. Whatever lies on those landmarks, it was alive, as they were confident of their own research of it despite so little... Its up to the world powers to decide, with their allies having their backs it would be clear this situation could become very violent. in a blink of an eye... (Please be informed that this was inspired by the Anime, Gate: Thus the JSDF fought there, and is in the genre of medieval vs modern civilization stories. However there will be only a few references to Gate because it will have its own setting, characters, etc.)
Nihonkoku Shoukan: Beyond
After 2 major wars against two galactic superpowers, and the Garmillas refugee crisis of 2205, Japan, a part of the Earth Federation, now is seeing true peace. The rebuilding process is happening smoothly, with cooperation between citizens from all walks of life, between the Garmillian refugees and Terrans, and even the famous Shinkansen Maglev system is also rebuilt. However, one day, the people on the land of Japan woke up to a foreign sight. No known constellation, familiar stars, the moon, and neighboring landmass could be detected. Facing them is a planet of unknown, magic, and of possibility. Facing the crisis of transference, the people united once more, and again, the name Japan is re-recognized as a country. Her diplomatic corps is sent out on the rebuilt Japan Cosmo Navy ships, heading toward unknown lands, and contacting the nations of the new world. The politic of the new world however is a quagmire full of arrogance, hostility, and imperialism. "If diplomacy fails, then defend ourselves, we must" - proclaimed the newly appointed provisional PM of Japan, Heikuro Todo. The story of Nihonkoku Shoukan Beyond will follow Japan in the world of Space Battleship Yamato (2199/2202/2205) after their transference to the new world. This story is inspired by the original NHS and fanfics like Summoning America by DrDoritosMD. It will feature similar plots to the OG NHS by Minorou and the fanfics by other creators I have the pleasure to read. With this as my first English fanfic novel, please don't be too harsh. As it is a pet project of mine, it may not get updated regularly, updated at weird hours, or be subjected to changes and fixes without notice. Edited by @RadjaDawamindra.
