"What's this?" He asked, as she placed the intricate paper ball of roses in his hand.
She notice his hand didn't tighten, and was left palm open as he held the ball up towards his face, like he could see it, even though she knew he couldn't.
"It's for you, I don't have a name for it though" she replied. " I hope you like it."
A frown made its way onto his face, as he still held the delicate piece of paper.
"I wouldn't know, I can't see it." A bit of anger in his tone.
"Of course you can't see it but, you can feel it."
She got a hold of his free hand and gently trace his finger tips around each slope and curve of one of the roses she had created and folded in together.
His face contorted even more into a frown, but she could see that he was trying to focus, trying to visualize the ball and the rose.
"See," she said proudly as she let go of his hand.
"You don't need your eyes to appreciate beauty."

I look out into the parking lot and squint to make sure I'm not going crazy. Walking up with a bouquet of flowers is Justin. He's wearing a muscle tee, and my eyes settle on the part of his tattoo that's not covered up by the plastic holding the flowers. When he reaches me, I feel my face heat up and before I can say anything, he hands me the yellow roses. "I think we need a do over, and I'm not letting you go. But um...here's to friendship until then. If you'll accept." He looks so flustered and unsure of himself as I eye the flowers but don't take them immediately. It's her first day at a new school, a random person Airdropped her something and they begin to chat. This mystery guy is 17 and also his Junior year and is a football player. She knows nothing about him so she's determined to learn more. What she finds out shocks her completely. Preview: "Y/n! Come on let's go!" "Yeah! You are going to make us late!" "God!
